do you know you abc

Morning girls
Happy Monday:)

It's my turn to post over on Inky Inspirational blog this morning and  I was sooooooooo hoping my new package would've arrived before now but alas Mr Postie is not playing nice at the moment:(  So I've used the gorgeous little Lilli and her chalkboard for my card.

I just love all of these cuties but I must admit to having a little soft spot for Lilli.
As always I've coloured with copics.  DP's are First Edition and the little pearls are also
As you can see I've kept the embellies to just a couple of flowers on this card.  These papers are sooo glittery and lush that I just can't bare to cover them up lol
Thanks for popping in, have a good crafty day

it'll be all white on the night

Morning girls
Another weekend nearer me hols:)  Almost two weeks and counting down.  I can't wait for some sun, sea and relaxation.  We're off to our little piece of paradise in Turkey for a fortnight.  I sooooooooo wish it was longer but him that earns the money needs to get back to work lol
Anyway, today we have a new challenge for you over on Totally Papercrafts and our hostess with the mostest Cathy has decided our theme for this week.

WHITE ON WHITE
you may use colour on your image though.

Our sponsor for this week is -

Simon Says Stamp

and the lucky winner will receive a $25 gift voucher to their store.  Please remember though this does not include shipping.
Anyway here is me card.

There's not alot to tell about this one really.  All white cardstock some run through me cuttlebug, others scored, cut with Marianne Design dies and me cricut.  Then a stamped sentiment from Sparkle n Sprinkle and some pearls to finish.
So, who's game?  Hopefully lots of you lol.  I'll look forward to seeing your creations
Have a great weekend

Wednesday 2 May 2012

let's see some ribbon

Morning girls
It's another lovely one here in Glasgow albeit a bit on the windy side but it's dry and the sun is shining for the moment so I'm not complaining.
Anyway, today sees the beginning of a new challenge over on Inky Impressions and this week we'd like to see some ribbons on your creations.
You'll need to excuse me pic, as I said it's windy and this poor little card got blown all over the place yesterday whilst trying to photograph it.   The corners got the worst of it so much so that the card is really only fit for the bin now but as I've no time to make another one I'll need to use it for now:(

This is Chatterbox Lili and you'll find her and lots more cuties like her over at the store
The papers are K & Co, image coloured as always with copics, ribbon and brads from me stash.
So, there's me card and me tale of woe lol.  Happy crafting

launch day - a brand new challenge

woooooooooooohoooooooooooo it's finally here.
Our very first challenge on Michelflo
Michelle and us girlies are super excited that the day has finally arrived and we're hoping your all ready to play along with our very first challenge.  Let me tell you a little of what we have planned:)

You can use any medium for the challenges, whether it be papercrafting, knitting, crochet, sewing, painting, yip, anything goes just so long as you follow the chosen theme for the month.
We're also having two age groups for our challenges.  Those under 16 and then us grown ups.  So, if you've a wee one entering please remember to add their age next to their name is Mr Linky.

The Winner of each Group will get to choose a prize!  There are seven prizes to choose from this month.  Now, there's something you won't see in any other challenge!!!  As well as this we also have a sponsor, can you believe that!!!

 LEJ Designs
have some gorgeous digi images for the winners too!

So now let's get onto our very first monthly challenge which we all agreed should be

CELEBRATION

..to celebrate our new challenge blog:) - this can be anything from new baby, birthday, wedding, the possibilities are endless so there's lots of scope and you have a whole month to create your project.

I decided on a birthday card and used the beautiful Hope from Wee stamps.  I bought her when Zylvia had her new release a week or two ago and shame on me this is the first I've had a chance to use her.  As always I've coloured with copics.  The DP's are from Marianne Designs and the brads are My Minds Eye.
So, there you go girls.  You have all the deets, all that remains now is for you to play along.
Happy Crafting
