what a swing

Morning girls
It's time for our first challenge of 2012 over on Totally Papercrafts.
The girls and I are really looking forward to another year of fun filled challenges and are hoping you'll show us as much support as you did last year.
Mel has worked like a trojan to bring you lots of new sponsors, of course our regulars will still be there too but it's always nice to have more isn't it?

Since like us your most probably all Christmas carded out we've a fabulous sketch for you this week.
Didn't our Sue do a great job?

It was my Dad's birthday yesterday so I killed two birds with one stone.

He loves golf so this stamp from Sparkle n Sprinkle was just the job as were the papers from Polka Doodles Not for Girls CD.  There's not a lot else to tell about this really apart from it's coloured with copics and the little hinges were cut using my cricut.  I left off the embellies, one the papers are busy and two it's a male card.
Anyway, that's my effort.  I do hope you find time to play along.
Thanks for stopping by

it's sketch time

Helloooooooooooo
Welcome to the first challenge of the year over on Polka Doodles.
Thanks so much to all of you who joined us throughout 2011 we're all hoping you'll join the fun again this year starting with this fab sketch from the boss lady herself:)

...but there's a catch!!!
Your card has also to be in shades of grey.  She doesn't do anything by half does she??

Anyway, my handsome lad will be 30 later this month  ( I know, I don't look a day over 21) so this was the perfect opportunity to get his card sorted instead of a last minute rush which is normal for me:)
I used  the Not For Girls Definitely For Men CD and started by colouring up the image using my copic markers.  Then It was a simply a print job with these fabulous papers.  I also loaded the plain grey papers into my graphics programme and added my own text to match ( or as near as I could) so it all matched.  Some brads, eyelets and a bit of white cord for the embellies and I was sorted.
So, that's my effort girls, do play along as there is also a fab giveaway this week from Letraset.
Ta muchly for popping in
