latte anyone?

Hi girls
Just a quickie post tonight as I'm up to my eyes in commissions and DT cards not to mention we're still trying to finish off decorating.  I'm no where near ready for the man in the red suit!
So, one of my friends is turning fifty in a week or two so I took the opportunity to use the gorgeous Wild Rose Studio stamp and some of the other bitsI won in Mandy's candy a fortnight ago.

Doesn't she look chic sitting there with her coffee?
Papers are Dovecraft, stamp from Wild Rose Studio coloured with copics.  Marianne leaves die, flowers, bling and lace finish it off.
Right, no gassing tonight.  I'm being a good girl (well as good as I can be) and switching the puter off so I won't be tempted to browse instead of getting things done.
Thanks for popping in

let it snow

Hello again:)
T'is me with my Totally Papercrafts card to show you.  Our hostess with the mostest this week is Cathy
and she's chosen the theme of

LET IT SNOW

Our sponsor for this week is the lovely Mandi

I'm sure loads of you will want to play along for some gorgeous Stampin Up goodies:)

Once again excuse the rubbish pic.  It's been horrendous here this week.  Wet, dreary and dismal with very little light.  So as well as not being able to get outside for a decent pic the flash seemed to bounce right off all the glitter and glitz on me lovely First Edition papers.

I've killed two birds with one stone with this card.  The Christmas commissions are coming in thick and fast so to save some time I've used this one for our challenge this week.  I think there may be a few more like that too but needs must and all that eh?
The image as I'm sure you already know is from Saturated Canary.  I love these, bang up to date and modern  so perfect for a young or not so young card.  I've coloured as always with copic markers, the sentiment was pc generated and I've embellished with a little heart and my new Whimsy snowflake die and some bling.    Do any of you have this die?  It was a bugger to cut.  I almost lost the will to live lol  It won't touch card and even 120gms paper was a nightmare.  I won't be using it much, it's too much of a darn nuisance:(  More money wasted!!!
Anyway, I'd best get a move on.  the gloss paint is waiting for me.
Have a smashing weekend

what's hiding

Morning girls
Happy Friday:)   It's the weekend...yay!!!  All the more time to get some more of the decorating done:(  OMG I'll never, ever attempt the hall and stairs again.  Next time a man who does will be called.  I've been hard at it all week but the end is in sight now thank goodness.
Anyway, enough chatter and onto me card which is for the challenge this week over on Polka Doodles.  Our theme this week is...

A CHRISTMAS CARD FOR A CHILD WITH A HIDDEN EXTRA FOR THEM TO FIND

I've used the Sundae of Seasons CD for my card.  I started off by printing straight onto both sides of my card then folding about on third of it up thus showing two different designs.  I then cut diagonally towards the centre thus creating two little pockets.
the weather here has been dreadful so excuse the crap, dark pics.

I embellished with some more of the papers and the cute little gingerbread girl, cute as a button eh?
I then used some more of the graphics to create the 'toy vouchers' and cut a tag for the other side  adding a snowflake and brad to add some depth.
Then it was onto the front.

Since I'd printed straight onto the card I just added another strip of paper across the middle for some added interest.  I also cheated by using a pre coloured image from the CD.  Brilliant when your in a hurry or too lazy to colour.  The same snowflake, a little tag and two hearts finish it off.

So there's my effort for this week girls.  Don't forget to visit my teamies for loads more inspiration and of course we'd love it if you play along too.
I'll be back asap with my Totally Papercrafts card.
