guess who did the wrong challenge?

yip, I made a card for next weeks challenge on Totally Papercrafts and only discovered the me mistook yesterday afternoon so between last night and now I've had to put together a card for our challenge this week which is.....

So, being as I'm such a numpty I cheated big style with this one and used a pre coloured image from

Teddy Bo.  I did ground her and added a little shading with me copics but other than that this is one quick card.  Excuse the glare on the holographic card too but the flash kept catching it no matter how many pics I took so in the end I just made do.

I'm loving these sprakly papers from First Edition, they are lush and me new  crimbo favourites;)  The sentiment is from the freebie stamps from Polka Doodles in this months Papercraft Essentials and all 

the other little bits and bobs are from me stash although the snowflakes are clear and not pink.  We'll blame the flash again for that one too!

So, better late than never eh!!  Do play along girls and don't forget to visit me teamies.

Morning girls

Do you know it's only 52 days till Christmas?  

No, I didn't either till my daughter told me yesterday.  I've not given a second though to presents never 

mind started me shopping so I guess it's time I got me thinking cap on and get the lists sorted.

Anyway now that I've given you that snippet let me tell you about the new challenge this week on

 Polka Doodles

I'm sure loads of you will join the fun as it's SHAPED CARDS and I see loads of them all over the place so do please play along

First of all excuse the dark pic.  I'd to take this indoors as it was wet n windy the other day.

So, I started by cutting out the easel card with my nesties.  Once I'd that sorted I printed off the image and papers from the Pretty Sweet CD.   I coloured this little cutie with copics and added a couple of tiny gems for buttons and to the centre of the flowers in her hairband.  Using the same papers I cut the flowers with my cricut then added some lilac beads to their centres and finished off with a bow, button and a wee dragon fly brad from me stash.

Hi girls

A quickie post from me today as I've loads of things to be getting on with.  I'm sooooooo easily distracted but I really do need to get me bum away from the pc plus it took an age to get an anywhere near decent pic of this which also held me up.  With the winter fast approaching the light is awful plus it's so windy outside I'd to take it indoors which is  always difficult for me.  They're always crap!!

I bought a couple of images from Saturated Canary the other day.  OMG  I'm in love with these beauties!!!

They're so 'with it'   Absolutely perfect for any girlie cards.  

I couldn't wait to colour this one up but am not best pleased with her hair.  Lot's more practice needed me thinks.  So I've not a  few more printed out for tonight that I can test run whilst I'm watching the telly.

Papers are Dovecraft, sentiment is Craftwork Cards and the other bits and bobs are from me stash.
