another little mermaid

 Hi girls
Well we're back to the rain here in Glasgow.  It's been a horrid muggy day so I got on with another card for Amber Ink.  I can't believe my month as a torchbearer is almost over:(  I've had so much fun creating with these little cuties.

This is another one from the Baby Mermaid Friendship collection.  Isn't she a little sweetheart?  I thought since she's a little 'un I'd make a Mother's Day card with her, hence, the flowery papers and embellishments.  I've coloured as usual with copics, DP's are Dovecrafts all the other little bits and pieces are from my stash.

challenges:
Wee Memories - Crafts  - use whatever you like on your project
Card Making Mamas - for a loved one
Paper Cutz - Mother's Day
Stamp Something - use a digi
Pixie Dust Studio - under the sea

the best birthday ever

Morning girls
What's happened to our sun?  It persisted it down all day here yesterday and it's already looking like more of the same today:(   The only thing I can say is me garden looks better for a good soaking lol
Anyway, seeing is it's Friday that means only one thing and that's a nice new challenge over on Totally Papercrafts with me and my lovely teamies.
It was my turn to choose this week so I've given you all a recipe to work with.  I've kept it nice and simple though.  One image, two papers and three embelishments

So, who has a hubby like this then?  Apart from the baldy heid that's mine to a T, fat belly and all lol but don't tell him I said that!
This smashing stamp is from Sparkle n Sprinkle, love it!!!  I've coloured with copics and distressed these old DCWV but the swirly one was just perfect for the image don't you think?  Two little brads and a button finish off the recipe:)
challenges:
Freshly Brewed - beach or summer
Bunny Zoe Crafts - one for the boys
Crafty Catz - quote/sentiment

Make a splash

Morning girls
T'is little me with my third project for Amber Ink.  I'm having so much fun with these images:) It's refreshing to play with something different isn't it?  They've really boosted me mojo which has been almost non existent for the past couple of weeks.

So, this little cutie is part of the Baby Mermaids friendship set and the gorgeous matching papers are called Goldfish Blue  I wish you could really see the vivid colours on the paper, bright, bold and printed beautifully too:)  I've coloured with my usual copic markers, punched out a couple of flowers to which I added buttons  then didn't like but since they were already sewn onto the card I was stuck with them so I added some glitter!!  Where there's a will there's a way right?  I finished off with a ribbon and a little brad.

challenges:
Top Tip Tuesday - anything goes
Craft Your Passion - anything goes
Divas By Design - anything goes
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Miami Doodles - let's get girlie

 Morning girls
It's looking like it's going to be another nice day here apart from the wind which will play havoc with me doo lol but seeing as we've no concrete plans for today I'll not worry about it:)  Are any of you doing anything nice today then?
It's also time for a new challenge on Karen's Doodles and this week the theme is

ONE FOR THE KIDS

I think this has to be one of my favourite of Karen's kids images.  I'm sure, like me, you've had a kiddie in a paddling pool thinking he was Mark Spitz!  Coloured as usual with copics, papers are K & Co, twine and brads are from me stash.
It would be lovely if you could visit my teamies too, they've all made smashing cards so lots of inspiration to get those creative juices flowing:)

challenges:
Paper Cutz - anything goes
Southern Girls - green and blue
Creative Card Crew - childs play
