Go Green

Morning girls
Happy Monday:)  Did you all have a good weekend?  We'd a busy one, clearing the garden of the winter debris no less.  Exciting stuff eh??
It's time for a new challenge on Karen's Doodles and this week we'd like you to use the colour green on your creations, so it's a nice simple one:)

I've used one of Karen's new Easter images this week.  This is Bunny Basket, isn't she a cutie?  Coloured with copics as per usual, is there anything else?  The papers are from K & Co, sentiment is from Sparkle n Sprinkle as is the glitter I've used on the egg border.  Brads are from me stash.
So, that's my effort, I do hope you'll play along with our Go Green challenge this week girls.  It's always lovely to see your take on our themes.

challenges:
Penny's Papercrafts - go green
Friday Sketchers - sketch
Corrosive challenge - go green
Cute Card Thursday - signs of spring
Craft Your Passion - anything goes

a hole in one

Hi girls
I've been having a wee play with another one of the stamps I received in my monthly pack from Sparkle n Sprinkle.  This is another one from the Golf McDuff set.  Perfect for all those gold loving men out there.

I can't make up my mind if he's pondering his next shot or totally pi$$ed off with missing his last one lol
I coloured with my usual copics, papers are K & Co and I put the little eyelet there to resemble the hole but now I see it I'm not that sure that it works.  It looks a wee bit lonely!!
challenges:
Crafty Anns - birthday card
Crafty Sentiments - birthday

Lace and pearls

Morning girls
This week seems to have flown by, I can't believe the weekend is upon us.  I think I've lost a day or two somewhere along the line. Here we are at Friday already and another challenge on Totally Papercrafts but before I tell you about the challenge I've something else to share.
Yesterday I received a mahooosive box that I wasn't expecting and couldn't for the life of me figure out where it came from.  Once opened, guess what I found?????

A GRAND CALIBUR

I was gobsmacked and racked me brains thinking if I'd entered a blog candy or something but knew they wouldn't have my address etc.  Anway, I went to check the DT yahoo group for Sparkle n Sprinkle last night to find that they have now teamed up with Spellbinders - ie they will and have already designed stamps to fit their nesties etc. So, as a thank you all of us DT girlies got a grand calibur free gratis.  Now is that fantastic or is that fantstic.  I'm jumping for joy here lol.  All I need now is a lottery win to go on a spending spree!!!
So, now I've got all that off me chest I'd better tell you about our challenge this week.  It's a nice girlie one chosen by the lovely Carol

LACE & PEARLS
and we're sponsored by

I've used the gorgeous Sugar Nellie, isn't she just the prettiest little thing?  Coloured with copics, papers are Basic Grey, sentiment is Sparkle n Sprinkle, lace ribbon and pearls are from me stash.

challenges:
Sweet Stamps - sketch (flipped)
Simons Says - recipie
Copic Creations - complimentary colours

Three Little Squares

Evening girls
I finally managed to get my 'less is more' challenge card done.  I didn't think I was going to mamage it this week but hey ho here we go!!

I started but cutting the squares at 1.75" with me cricut, stamped the sentiments available from Sparkle n Sprinkle and then matted them onto so black card stock.  The little strip of paper was recycled from a bought birthday card lol
I really faffed about with the layout of this one, those squares have been all over this DL sized card but I was happiest with them in this position.  I think I've got it right with this one but as usual all constructive comments will be gratefully recieved.

challenges:
Less is More - three little squares
Bearly Mine - birthday

golf anyone?

 Morning girls
I've been having a wee play with some of the stamps I got in me package this month from Sparkle n Sprinkle.
This is such a fun set, Golf McDuff, even the name is brilliant!! There are three male and one female golfers plus sentiments.  All are the same whacky style, a real fun set.

I've coloured this one with my primsa pencils and blended with mineral spirits.  I added a wee touch of sparkle to the club with a sakura pen too.  Papers are from me Costco bag, don't know why I don't use these more often as some them are fab.  It's just easier to reach for a pad you know what colours are in lol
It's been kept relatively plain apart from a couple of eyelets, men don't seem to need as much emebellies on their cards.

challenges
ECP - one for the boys
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
