It's christmastime at Karen's Doodles

Good morning girls
Thankfully we've had no more snow over the weekend but the pavements are likes sheets of glass. We went into town to get some Christmas shopping yesterday and it was treacherous underfoot, grabbed a few bits then decided to go for a pub lunch out of it lol
Thanks to everyone who played along with Karen's Doodles blog hop last week. You'll find a list of the winners over on the challenge blog and we've a nice easy challenge this week too. Make us a Christmas card, anything you like so long as you use one of Karen's images. Have you seen the adorable new Christmas images? Go check out the store.

I've gone for the CAS look this week. I printed the image twice, coloured with copic and then decoupaged the bow and berries. I then added some diamond glaze to the berries so they're all lovely and shiny. The letter are cut with my cricut at 3.5" with and without the shadow function so they too are quite prominent on the card. A few we gems finished it off.
So, there you have it girls, I do hope you'll play along and don't forget to enter your card into our Doodle Diva's gallery here for a chance to win some more images if your card is showcased.

snow much fun

Good morning girls
I'm so sick of all this bleeding white stuff and yet here I am making another card full of it. They do say it should be kept for the Christmas cards though:) How I wish that's the only time we see it.
Anyway, enough of the moaning. No point is there as we can't fight nature so let me tell you about the theme for our challenge this week on Totally Papercrafts

Christmas Punches

I've used an image from Karen's Doodles coloured with copics and loads of glitter although that's not showing too well in the pic. I cut the snowflakes with my cricut and added them with some white brads from me stash. I think the papers are Doodlebug, I'd cut into them before I took note of the name. All finished of with a wee ribbon bow.

So a nice simple of for you this week girls, I do hope you'll play along and don't forget to visit my lovely teamies for some more inspiration:)

challenges:
The Paper Variety - tic tac toe/cricut-card-holiday theme
Digital Tuesday - animals at Christmastime
