super boy

Good afternoon girls
Just a quickie post from me to show you one of the latest images from Karen's Doodles. Isn't Super Boy just the bees knees?

The papers are a freebie from Raspberry Road, image coloured with copics and pop dotted for a bit of extra dimension.
Our little nephew will have his 4th birthday next month so this is just perfect for our very own little super hero. I 'll add the sentiment and personalise it nearer the time.
challenges
Papertake Weekly - use an old challenge (sketch 31)
All That Scraps - a manly card

Hello, I'm home and two challenges already

Good morning girls
That's us home from Turkey and all the lovely sunshine to cold, wet, windy Glasgow:( Roll on next May when we visit again. Not that I'm wishing me life away or anything lol
No rest for the wicked either, right in at the deep end I go with two challenges for you today.

This first one is for Karen's Doodles. It's my turn to choose the challenges for October so I thought we'd start with Hallowe'en/Fall. There are some cute new images in the store for this one girls, so if you've not been over there for a while nows the time to mosey on over for a looksee. I've used Trick or Tweet, I loved the sentiment on this image plus it's just that little bit different from the normal Hallowe'en ones out there.

I was getting myself into a tizzy trying to get things sorted before I left for me jollies so to save myself a wee bit of time I printed this fab paper from Creative Cottage and made a little goodie bag. A Martha Stewart border, a few eyelets and a bit of ribbon completed the look. I did intend to add some sweets but never got around to buying them before I took the picture but I'm sure you get the idea:)

challenges: -
Incy Wincy - anything goes
Sew Many challenges - anything goes
OSAAT - Hallowe'en

This second card is for The Crazy challenge and this week we've a theme of 'Go Green' Yes girls it's time for a bit of recycling!!! We're sponsored this week by Hobbisimo and one lucky winner will receive two digiital stamps!

These cute little penguins were rescued from one of last years Christmas cards and the ribbon from some Thorntons choccies. The papers are some of last years Papermania Christmas ones although the name escapes me for the moment. Again I was rushing a little to get this done so it's been kept plain and simple with just a simple layout and stamped sentiment.

challenges:-
Daring Cardmakers - Christmas card
Charisma Cardz - Christmas crafting

So there you have it girls, I do hope you'll play along. I'm looking forward to visiting to see how you intemperate both challenges or perhaps you could combine them both!!
