Have you seen................

Morning girls
Have you seen the new Hallowe'en and fall images over on Karen's Doodles? omg how cute are these little scarecrows?

I really should have been getting on with my DT work but when I saw these two lovelies yesterday I just had to play and play I did:) As you've probably guessed by now this is actually two images, Scarecrow Girl and Scarecrow Boy but I merged them using My Craft Studio so I had one image. I soooooooo wanted them together on a card.

I don't usually do a close up of my image but I really love the expression on their faces

The papers and sentiment are a set by Tracey over at Creative Cottage, watch this space some some fab new happening over there very shortly too.
I've coloured as usual with copic markers but kept it embellies to a minimum, using only a couple of brads from my stash. Hope you love them as much as I do:)
challenges:
Digital Tuesday - spots and stripes
Copic Creations - pleats or folds
Crafty Cardmakers - clean and simple

raindrops keep falling on my head

Good morning girls
Another weekend over and I'm pleased to say it was quite a pleasant one here. Not wall to wall sunshine but nice enough to get out and about.
It's also time for our new challenge over on Karen's Doodles. I'm hoping you all like this challenge a bit more than our bookmarks one from last week:( but we can't get it right all of the time can we? So this week our theme is
PRETTY IN PINK
Now before I show you my card let me tell you how stupid I've been. I'd a card, notice the a card, not thee card all ready early on in the week. Last night I though I'd better get me bum in gear and get this post sorted and my card uploaded for the challenge. Only to discover that I'd used the wrong challenge. I'd only gone and made the card for next week. By sheer luck I'd coloured another image in pink. So, there was me gone 8pm throwing, yes throwing this one together and rushing to get a pic in the twilight. So forgive the rushed card and the dark pic!!

See what I mean. At least now I can almost smile but last night I wanted to scream!!! Anyway, papers are from Doodlebug, and this little cutie whom I've coloured as usual with my copic markers is called 'Rainy Day', you'll find this one and loads more over at Karen's store.
I've distressed the papers by pulling the edge of my scissors along the edges - I resisted temptation to slit me wrists with them lol Then added some ink too for good measure. So there you have it girls, an nice easy one for you this week. I do hope you'll play along:)

challenges:
The Secret Crafter - clean and simple
Stamptacular Sunday - distress it
Aly's Sunday Challenge - pretty in pink
Charisma Cardz - inspired by a song (raindrops keep falling on my head)

Happy Friday ladies
The weekend is upon us and I'm hoping this sunshine we've had these past few days hangs around:) I don't know about you but I always feel so much better when the sun has got his hat on.
Talking of Friday, it's time now for another great challenge over on Totally Papercrafts. We've a fab theme for you this week so I'm hoping your all ready to play along.

We're sponsored by

and the lucky winner will receive $10 to spend in their store

so, what's the challenge I hear you ask?
CHARMING
that's it, plain and simple, show us a charm somewhere on your creation.

I've kept this quite plain again, just one sheet of Laura Ashley paper and some nice pearlised card which I've embossed. I used my trust copic markers for colouring and added a little stickles to the flower, butterfly and her dress. A ribbon and that all important charm finished the look.
So there to have it girls, I do hope you'll play along and don't forget to visit my teamies to see their fab cards too:)
challenges:
Papertake Weekly - Just The One
ABC - c is for charms

Celebrations at Creative Cottage plus a freebie

Hello girls
I hope your all hunky dory and ready for another challenge at The Creative Cottage
Thanks so much to everyone who played along last time, all your creations were fantastic!!! It doesn't seem like two weeks since our last challenge, aren't the weeks just flying by? It'll be Christmas before we know it!! I'm trying not to think about that too much yet though:)

Anyway, this fortnight our challenge has been chosen by the lovely Rebekah and her theme is

CELEBRATIONS

You can interpret our challenge in any way you wish just so long as there's something to celebrate on your card.

I decided that little Bella Ballerina was just right for any little princess to celebrate passing her dancing exams:) Well it's a change from birthdays and passing your driving test isn't it lol
This is such a cute, girly kit, the papers are lush and if you don't want to stamp or need a quick card then little Bella is all coloured for you. Even the flowers are all sorted, cut, layer and stick!! I tell you this was done and dusted in under 30 mins.
All I did was add some stickles, brads and a few little gems that I've had in me box for an age. Printed out me sentiment, cut the scalloped circles with my cricut and me card was done.

Now onto this months freebie. Go grab yourself this cutie patootie.

These Sherbet the bear toppers, are just the job, simply print, colour the bear and greeting and layer onto Sherbet for a great 3d effect. Good eh?
You can download them here.

So, there you have it girls, I do hope you'll play along as we lurves to come and visit and leave some sweet comment for ya!!
