Finally - I've flashed my freebie

Hi girls
I've had an afternoon and a half!!! This card has been taken apart so many times I've lost count!!! Now just as I'm looking at the pic I realise I've not added the sentiment which should be in the bottom right corner (((screams very loudly)))) but it's here now so will have to do.

The image is from Paula over on Pollycraft, this is me finally using my freebie for joining the flash those freebies challenge. I've coloured her with copic markers and a little stickles plus some white glitter to her wings. Papers are also a freebie from Raspberry Road, nice ain't they? I've kept this one quite plain and simple, well apart from the flowers, a girlie card has to have flowers doesn't it? There's not really a lot to tell so I'll just go ahead and list me challenges.

creative cottage

Good morning girls
It's time for another challenge over at Creative Cottage. Wednesday sure did roll around fast, it doesn't seem a week since I joined this great team of girls.
My lovely teamie Donna has chosen our theme this week and she'd like you to use acetate somewhere on your creation.

I've used the Snow Buddies kit, it's packed full of gorgeous papers and printables
just ready for you to add to your card. No colouring needed, it's all done for you.
Or you can add your own images and just use the lush wintery papers!
There's even some sentiments too, everything you need to make a card is here in this kit.

I started out with a cd sleeve with an acetate window which I covered with one of the papers, I then added some glitter to the little eskimo's clothing although it's not showing too well in the pic, put him inside with some punched out snowflakes and hey presto a shaker card, or the beginnings of one:) Two more of the lush papers were used over the front of my card as a backdrop of my shaker topper. To finish off I cut a little snowflake from some more acetate, added some stickles and a brad and if you look real close on the top right hand corner you'll see it lol.
Thanks for stopping by, I do hope you'll play along as me and the girls want to see your lovely creations again this week.

vamp it up

Hi girls
I've had a little play today. I finally got to make a card that isn't DT work. As soon as I saw the new release from Kenny K I had to have this image. Isn't she smashing? Well they all are really but she was me favourite.

Coloured as usual with copic markers, papers are from Provocraft, yes I'm using up me stash. I'm trying to use up some of what I have before I buy anymore or I'll be using it for wallpaper shortly. The lace, brads and gems are all from my stash.
Thanks for stopping by:)

challenges:
Kenny K's Krafty Girls - the dark side
Paper Jewels - monochromatic
Daring Cardmakers - it's a girl thing

My first DT card for the Crazy Challenge

Morning girls
Well here it is, my first card as a DT member for The Crazy Challenge blog. I hope you'll play along as it's a great theme this week.

We'd like to see the colours olive, fushia and teal on your card.

We're sponsored by the lovely Zlatoena, who gave us a couple of images to play with.
This is 'rabbit' gift' and you can find him and others just as cute here in her Etsy shop.
My papers are Basic Grey, Pheobe range, not quite moss green or teal but it was the nearest I could find. Coloured as usual with my copic markers with a little hint of glitter on the presents.

challenges:
Friday Sketchers - sketch
Creative Inspirations - animals
OSAAT - a dash of pink

Karen's Doodles news and a new challenge

Good morning girls
I've a wee bit of news concerning Karen's Doodles challenge blogs. It's been decided to merge the USA, UK and Scandinavian blogs together. The DT is made up of some of the girls from all the teams with one newcomer Peri Hill.
There is also a change to how the prizes are given out. Now, our weekly winner will be chosen on merit. The team will get together and choose what we think is the best card. Along with the usual three digital images they will receive a winner blinkie to display on their blog. There is no change to how the second and third prizes are awarded.
The current UK challenge will run as per normal but from now the new challenges will be set on a Monday and can be found HERE Don't forget to bookmark it:)
Which leads me nicely to this weeks...................................

ANYTHING GOES

I decided against a card for this one, so made a little Christmas door hanger using Santa Waving
Isn't he a cutie patootie, look at his cheery face:) No fancy papers, just a circle cut from my cricut for the handle, I then added the sentiment which was done on the pc. Santa whom I coloured with my copics has been pop dotted onto two circles on of which I ran through my cuttlebug.
So, there you have it. All the news and my creation for our new challenge. I'll look forward to popping by and seeing what you come up with for this one. Please remember though that you need to use a Karen's Doodles image - check out her store if you haven't already.
