Karen's Doodles - a recipie

Good moring girls
Wednesday already and time for another challenge over at Karen's Doodles. Thanks so much to everyone who played along last week. We had some fabulous entries, there sure it alot of talent out there in the blogosphere.

This week we have a recipie for you. Nice and simple it is too:).

3 embellishments, 2 papers, 1 image

Create a project using one of your favourite Karens Doodles image following
the above reicpie, add your creation to Inklinkz and your done.

I've used God's Little Angel for this one, coloured with my usual copics, papers are K & Co Simply Sweet, ribbon and buttons are from my stash.

a challenge or two

Hi girls
Just a quick card I put together this afternoon for me box. I always seem to make girlie or children's cards so today it's a male themed one for a change.

My arm was sort of forced with this one though as it's also a challenge over on Hobbycrafters this week to make a male card. The papers and buttons were part of a swap on there too so I can't tell you who they're from but they're rather nice aren't they? The image is by Sandra Dry, coloured with a mix of copic markers and prisma pencils.
I even covered a couple of challenges too:)

It's almost time for another Digi Day Challenge Event over on Digital Delights SNR Group

Our Theme this month will be Birthday.

You will need to create a project of any type using Digital Delights or CDS Creations by Louby Loo images and of course follow the Birthday theme.
When you've completed your project upload it to the SNR gallery and tag it digitaldelightsbirthday10

Once you've uploaded your project, you will receive an adorable exclusive FREEBIE Digital Stamp from Digital Delights!

I've been having a little play in my craft room this morning as it's too wet and miserable to be going out. This is the result

The image is another one from Karen's Doodles, which I've coloured with copic markers and a tiny amount of stickles on the bubbles. Papers are Basic Grey and the sentiment is computer generated. Lot's of ink and paper tearing went into this one. When I first started I wasn't too sure of it at all but once I had it all put together I'm quite pleased with the finish:)

Can you believe we're at challenge 10 already on Totally Papercrafts!!! Nine weeks of laughter and being sent to the naughty corner which actually isn't too bad as our Sue had it all kitted out lovely with loads of pringles and wine lol . It's a fight now to see who can get in first now.

Christy gave the team a few images to play with this week. This little fella just screamed man card at me for some reason, hence the lack of my usual flowery embellishments and papers.
This paper and card was in my scrap box, am not sure what make it is , image coloured as usual with my copic markers. All finished off with a couple of eyelets. Simples!!!

This is Peyton, he was part of the last release from Wendy of Digital Delights fame. Isn't he a little sweetheart? It just so happens I've a birthday card needed for June so when Wendy gave us the choice of which image to use I thought why not get ahead of myself for once!!

I've coloured the image with my usual copic markers, the papers are DCWV which I've also used to cut a few shapes with my cricut using good old George cart to form part of the embellishments for the card. Buttons and bling are from my stash and as I'm sure you've guessed already the sentiment was pc generated.
So there you have it girls, I do hope you'll play along as we really do enjoy visiting your blogs to see all the wonderful cards you create:)
