Anyone for Tango??

Happy Sunday Girls
I've been plodding away at this card since yesterday and to say I'm pleased with it is an understatement. I love it!!!!!!
Last week I came across a blog with loads of tutorials on copic markers. Marianne has so much information it'll take me weeks to get through it all. As a result of her blog I also found a copic challenge blog I'd never came across before either, so here is my attempt at their challenge which is feather blending.

Papers are Origins, although the darker brown looks more black in the pic:( image is from Karen's Doodles and the rest is from my stash. I do hope you like this one girls, I'm fair chuffed with it so am entering it into a couple of challenges out in blog land this week.

Copic Creations - feather blending
Basic Grey - sketch
One Stop Crafts - apple green, chocolate and clotted cream colour combo

Just for fun and a couple of challenges

Happy Saturday girls
It's dull and dreary here this afternoon but at least we've none of the white stuff. Roll on spring and a little sunshine to brighten our days:)
We're dog sitting this weekend, our son and his gf are off to London living it up and poor Mum is left washing the floor every time mutley goes outside for a wee:(
I've another Karen's Doodles image to show you this morning. This is Fairy Fun. Cute or what?

DP's are my lovely new Basic Grey, I've a feeling this is one pad that will not be left on the shelf for too long, they're all lush!!!! I think my promise to myself to buy no more DP's till I've used up what I have will be broken very shortly. Well who can blame a girl for wanting more pretties.
Whilst blog hopping earlier this morning I noticed that it also fits into a couple of challenges, even better lol
Pile it On - no winter colours
Crafty Creations - winged things
ABC - N is for new

my lovely candy is here

Hi girls
You may remember a few weeks ago I was lucky enough to win a candy from the lovely Christine. This was a $50 gift voucher from the store of your choice. Now is that a great candy or is that a great candy!!! and look at me lovely new stash. Basic Grey Sugar Rush and Origins 6x6 pads, a few more copics and some stickles:) I'm well chuffed as we say here in Glasgow.
If you've a minute or two girls, please pop over and visit Christine's fab blog you won't be disappointed

One Sophsti-Cat-ed Lady

Hello girls
What do you think of this little lady then? I can't make my mind up is she's a sophisticated lady or just a tad snooty lol. She is called Princess Kitty from Karens' Doodles. I love her, there's just something I can't quite put my finger on but I'm sure I'll use her again, nose in the air and all

I've no clue what the papers are, I received then in a RAK a few months ago and have only now got around to using them. (I'm still keeping to my word of using my stash of papers) I chalked the whole card heavily with some gold and red to give it a more distressed look than the papers already had, distressed the larger brads with an emery board to take of the shine and cut some flowers from the left over paper which I attached with some lovely Bo Bunny pearl brads.
As usual there's a couple of challenges:)

Sketch & Stash - sketch
Digital Ink Co - pets or babies
Cupcake Crafts - four legged and furry
Cute Card Thursday - blooming gorgeous

Tuesday 2 February 2010

Hi girls
I thought I'd play along with the Winter Wonderland blog hop. It's a great way of starting off this years Christmas cards. I've been naughty and not made a start yet although I'd promised myself to aim for one a week. Never mind better late than never!!

The theme for this one is red and white with the added extra of a candy cane if you wish. It just so happened I'd me favourite Snowy image already coloured and glittered - how lucky can a girl be? So this morning I cut a lovely big candy cane with my cricut mounted them both onto some pearlised card which I ran through the cuttlebug using the snowflakes folder, backed then whole thing with some K & Co Swell Noel paper and it's sorted!!!!

Win the new release of Clear Dollar Stamps to be won

Would you like to win one of these new sets girls???
It's really easy - all you need to do is visit Digital Delights and leave Wendy a comment:)

my card for Daan

Morning girls
On Saturday I posted about little Daan and how one of me fellow teamies on Karensdoodles had asked us to post an appeal for cards. You can see the original post here

This is my card, made over the weekend with a heavy heart. Life can be cruel girls can't it?
The image is Soccer Jamie from Digital Delights which I've coloured with my usual copics. The DP is Swinging Plaid by Caleb Gray from (???) I'd one sheet of this, it's reversible too but when I googled it I couldn't find anything else about it. Goodness knows when I bought it or what collection it's from lol
Anyway I do hope little Daan likes my card, if it cheers him up for a while then I've did good. Please girls if you've time make a card and send it over:)
I'm also entering this into these challenges, the more people we can get this message out to the more cards for Daan hopefully. Please make a card girls.

Friday Sketchers - sketch
One Stop Crafts - make it personal
