Mrs Tilly Claus

Hi girls
Another quick post from me today. I'm getting rather snowed under here:( Has anyone finished all their shopping? Or are you all like me with a hundred and one things still to be done??? Why oh why do we leave things to the last minute?
Anyway, quickly onto the card. I coloured the image more or less as soon as Wendy gave us the freebie and have only now got around to putting her onto a card. Shame on me leaving the gorgeous Mrs Tilly Claus till the last minute.

Isn't she pretty? I coloured her with copics, a load of stickles and for extra measure added some white glitter too. I put a little bit too much blue under the stickles though and it's shining through too much for my liking but hey ho these things happen:( DP's are Papermania, ribbon and bling are from my stash.

oh and I've just found out I've won last weeks Cupcake Crafts challenge:)

1. Digital Doodling - use Mrs Tilly Claus
2. Sketch & Stash - sketch
3. Stamping for the weekend - DT call
4. Pile It On - Glitter

Hi Girls
Is all the Christmas shopping done? Are the trees all decorated and sparkly? Not a thing has been done in this house!!!!! I've two very small pressies bought so it looks like I'm having a shopping spree at the weekend. It's just as well my kids are older and not looking for all the latest toys lol.
I made this card yesterday, it's a commission which I don't normally bother to put on here but when browsing the challenges earlier I noticed that if fitted a few of them. So back out of the poly bag it came to be photographed lol It's for a lady who buys a lot from me but she hates anything overly fussy and is very forthcoming in what she wants to see on the cards, hence the massive blue brad (birthstone) so who am I too argue:)

The images are both freebies from Dawn Moore , coloured with copics and then the flowers highlighted with sakura pens and a few flat backed pearls. The papers are Karen Foster which have been in my stash for goodness knows how long. One of those ones that you had to have at the time but knew you'd use eventually, eventually being years later lol

1. Paper Cutz - anything goes (2nd entry)
2. CRAFT Challenge- Christmas Birthdays ( doesn't need to be Christmas themed though)

Have you seen Karen's Doodles

Girls I've just stumbled upon Karen's' Doodles whilst visiting one of my DT buddies blogs. Make yourself a cuppa and go have a look see at her lovely digi images. I'll bet you spend a penny or three lol I did:)
She's also giving away three sets of candy over on DoodleDivas. Three lovely sets of rubber are up for grabs and as an added bonus there will be random give a ways when you leave a comment or buy and image. How good is that?? Not to mention loads of inspiration from the divas themselves

one card - seven challenges and my favourite Christmas stamp

Evening girls
It's turned really cold here, I guess it will be another frosty one tonight. Thanks goodness I'm all tucked up indoors with no need to go out again. I'll hopefully have a little play with some of the lovely goodies I've won over the past couple of days:)

This is one of the first Christmas stamps I ever bought and I love him as much now as I did then. I think he'll always be one of my favourites. I stamped and coloured a few of them with my copics whilst watching the X Factor on Saturday but have only now got around to actually making a card.

He's basically had his hat and scarf coloured and glittered and been mounted straight onto some dark green card. Quick and easy, just what we need for the mountain of cards needed at this time of year. I then mounted the strip of striped paper onto some green card which I'd run through the cuttlebug with the snowman sentiments on (sorry can't remember the proper name lol) and another white layer which I'd used one of me Martha Stewart punches on and finished off with a couple of snowflakes. Oh and the papers are from the Deck the Halls range from Papermania.

1. Incy Wincy Designs- red and green
2. Cupcake Crafts - red and green
3. Pink Elephant - favourite colouring mediums
4. Cuttlebug Spot - winter
5. Digital Tuesday - Christmas sparkle
6. HobbyCrafters - warm and cosy
7. Kaboodledoodle - snowflakes
