A first for me

Good morning girls
The sun is shining and it looks to be another beautiful day here. What a shame I'm working for a few hours this afternoon.

Do you like me bookmark? This is my first attempt at this sort of thing but the challenge this week over on Hobbycrafters was to make one and you know I never refuse a challenge lol.
Papers are Funky Fairy's, monogram I cut with cricut Mini Monograms cart and the ribbon and lace are from me stash. Not to bad for a first attempt me thinks
Girls if you've time please go look at my mate Georgies, she's did two, both parchment and both stunning. She doesn't do much blogging but I've encouraged her to put them on so I know she's love a comment or two. It might encourage her to show a wee bit more of her lovely work.

Football crazy

Morning bloggers
I hope your all enjoying this lovely weather we're having. It was glorious here yesterday so am hoping for some more of the same today.

This is yesterdays effort. I needed an 18th card for a footie mad soon to be 18 year old. Once again Mikey from Charmed Crafts came to the rescue, coloured with a mix of copics and pro markers. This is such a versatile set I seem to use it over and over again. The papers are DCVW Citrus pack, I know, again lol but I am loving these at the moment. Think I might have to buy some more.
Only one challenge with this one I'm afraid. The Cuttlebug Spot want us to use our favourite folder this week, so out came the Swiss Dots, this seems to be the one I use most, probably as it lines up so well, much better for a larger card.
Time to run, work beckons as usual. Have a good day girlies

Funky Fun time

Good morning girls
I hope your all fine and dandy this morning and ready for another fun challenge on Funky Fairies.
It's an all time favourite with us card makers this week, monochromatic, who doesn't love making black and white cards? I know it's one of my favourites:)

I've used the gorjuss gingham for this one, available from the shop. I wanted to keep it fairly simple. I always think black and white should allow the papers to talk for themselves, if you know what I mean. A little swirly flower stamp by Papermania, which I've stamped twice and pop dotted the two larger flowers and mounted onto black and then white card which I cut with crikey.
Don't forget there are some gorgeous freebies over on the inspirational blog to get you started on our challenges too. All we ask is that you follow the chosen theme for the week and of course use at least one Funky Fairy download on your creation.

making a start

Good afternoon girls
It's been glorious here today. have spent the afternoon out and about town with me Mum. I must admit I do enjoy being outside when the weather is fine.

I made this one quickly this morning. As soon as I saw the sketch this week on Sketch & Stash I knew I'd need to join the fun. It's a fairly simple one which lends itself nicely for a few quick Christmas cards.
The image is Cuddly Buddly, I love all of their Christmas stuff but haven't bought any new ones so far this year but these little cuties have never seen the light of day yet. Why oh why do us crafters buy so much then not use it?? Papers, well they're last years too. K & Co Swell Noel, I've still a good few of these left so will be using them up before I buy any more:) Sentiment is computer generated and the little candy canes are cut with my cricut then covered with diamond glaze for a bit of a shine.

Hobbycrafters

Morning girls
You've probably seen a couple of posts where I've made reference to the Hobbycrafters forum.
Myself and one of my forum buddies set this up a while ago now just so we had a regular place to chat and bounce ideas off one another.
We're very, very small with only a handful of regular members but we're friendly and have a bit of a laugh too. It's nothing fancy, it's a wee freebie lol but it's home.
We'd love some new members too, so if any of you feel like dropping in to say Hi, you'll be made very welcome

Christmas comes early and a sneeky peek

Happy Monday girls
It's a little overcast here this morning but it's dry and warm so I won't complain. I hope you've all had a lovely relaxing weekend, I haven't but that's another story.

I made this little lovely last night, I've not a clue about the image, it was part of a swap over on Hobbycrafters but I aim to find out as she is such a pretty little thing, just right for my little girlie Christmas cards. I colured her with my copics, but I still need so much more practice with these, plus more pens lol Once again I'd to dig deep into my stash of papers looking for Christmas ones, these are K & Co Swell Noel which is last years design but I still love them. They're so bright and funky! A couple of buttons, some bling and a little pair of ice skates to embellish and it was done. I'll add my greeting at a later date when I decide who it's for, I like to personalise all my cards.
I've covered four challenges out there in blogland too, so all in all I'm a happy bunny.

1. Creative Inspirations - bling
2. Stamptacular Sunday - childs play
3. Fun With Shapes - buttons
4. - Friday Sketchers - sketch
5. Bee Crafty - colouring on an image

.......................................................

and now for a little sneaky peek.
Can you guess the theme this week on Funky Fairy's? Just a little clue for you all.

Don't forget you have until Wednesday to submit your entries for our girlie challenge, we so love visiting your blogs to see all the wonderful creations. You've got to be in it to win it girls so, if you'd like to be the lucky winner of one of the gorgeous downloads from the shop you'll need to get those cards made and linked up to the challenge blog soon
