Christening Card

Good Evening girlies
We're back to some horrible weather here in Glasgow today. Nothing unusual there then I hear you say lol At least it allowed me to get on with some crafting, not that I need much persuasion to leave the shopping and housework for another day.
I followed the sketch on Mojo Monday for this card. As soon as I saw it this morning I knew it would fit this Christening card I had an order for :) it's brill when that happens isn't it?
I used Doodlbug papers with a George download from Charmed Crafts & Cards. I cheated a little and used the pre coloured one, finished it off with some ribbon and buttons from my stash

Flower Power

Good morning girlies
I've managed four challenges with this card. I decided last night to write them all down and see how many I could combine. I must admit I found this much easier than browsing and looking to see what's out there then trying to decide what to do only to forget which challenges are where lol
Papers are Basic Grey Euphoria Collection, image is from Pollycraft and everything else is from my stash.
Now onto those challenges.
The Secret Crafter wants to see stripes on your card, Sharon has set the challenge of stitching over on One Stop Crafts, Pollycraft are asking that you use a download on your card. It doesn't need to be one of theirs although you do need to use at least one Pollycraft item on your work. Lastly, Truly Scrumptious have the gorgeous sketch by Mina and are asking that you embelish your card with flowers.
Wheewwwwwwwww!!! Ain't I a clever blogger lol

Anyone for ice-cream

Hi girlies
I've had a little play this afternoon with some yummy papers I bought at Hobbycraft yesterday. DCWV Sweet, they're good enough to eat, all glittery and embossed :) I almost refused yo cut them lol
Anyway I followed the sketch this week on Friday Sketchers for this card, isn't it lovely?? They're sponsored this week by Whimsy Stamps, the cutest little lamb and pig will be going to some lucky blogger.
The backers were cut on my cricut using the Design Studio, the ice-cream is from the Doodlecharms cart cut at 3" and I finished off with a bow and a wee bit of bling:)

Holly on the Hight Street

Good Evening girlies:)
Here's today's effort. Holly on the High Street from Charmed Cards & Crafts coloured with copics and pro markers although there's no shading etc as I'm not brave enough yet lol
The theme on Dotties World this week is shaped cards so I whipped this one up on my cricut expression using the Wild Card cartridge for a super quick card.
Cute Card Thursday is citrus colours for the latest challenge so I figured with the oranges and yellow tones on this card it would fit the bill for that challenge too.
The flowers are actually felt, which looked awful so I added a load of stickles and a largish gem to the middle in the hope of improving their appearance. I still can't say I'm thrilled with the result but there stuck fast now lol

Good Morning girlies
It's another lovely morning here in Glasgow. Doesn't a little sunshine make you feel so much better.
This card is for the very first challenge on Simon Says Heidi the blog owners two favourite colours are yellow and green so that is her first challenge.
The papers and beautiful fairy are from a Friday Freebie scrap kit that I've had for a while now but never used. All I had to do was mount her up, add a little stickles to her wings and add a couple of embellies from my stash.

Good morning girlies:)
It's another lovely morning here, let's hope this is the beginning of some lovely summery weather.
This little cutie is Lottie, one of my latest downloads from Grab-a-doodle-do . Isn't she just the sweetest little lady:)
I followed the gorgeous sketch on Sketch and Stash for this card - don't you just love it when they give you a nice easy one?
Texture is this weeks theme over at Creative Card Crew so I had a little play with my cuttlebug and the paisley folder for the backers then I layered them onto some lovely textured mirri card and added a yummy thread of silver sequins just to make sure I had enough lol The image is coloured with sakura pens and prisma pencils for the skin tone. I did try Lorraine's water colouring technique with them but didn't have much success:( but I'll try again at some point no doubt.

Funky Fairies Fun

Good morning girlies
It's Wednesday already and that means it's a fabby new challenge over at Funky Fairies.
This week we'd love to see green on your creation. It can be a card, an ATC even an altered item as long as it's green and has at least one Funky Fairy paper or image on it.
Don't forget to check out the Inspirational blog where you'll find loads of yummy free downloads to use on your projects too.
We've changed the rules this week, from now on the winner will be chosen at random but, you must have a FF image or paper on your work and we ask that you don't combine it with any other challenge out there in blogland.
There is also a wee bonus, as well as winning a yummy download from the shop the lovely Lorraine has made the cutest little notebook and has kindly offered it as part of this week's prize too. So there's another reason to join the fun this week girlies!
Now onto my card. I've used Paisley Love this week with a little image I've had kicking around on the pc since the ark lol I've coloured it with prismas and my sakura pens to give a nice glossy accent to the balloon. The whole thing is mounted very simply and embellished with a couple of buttons from me stash.
