you brighten my day

Morning Everyone
I'm been awake since silly o'clock, have a few jobs already done and the washing machine is on too.  So I'm sitting here with a cuppa whilst I have a little browse around and move on to me next job of the day.

First though I've a card for you

I've been trying again with the Frantage.  I'm still on the fence with this.  I love it on other peoples cards but not so much on me own for some reason. I seem to be a bit heavy handed with it :)
Enjoy your day girls, hopefully it's a crafy one:)

congratulations

Afternoon everyone :)
I've actually managed to get out into the garden for an hour.  I won't pretend it's any better looking though as the ground is absolutely sodden so not a lot can be done but it's a wee start :)
Anyway, I've been such a bad blogger recently I thought it was time to show you a card other than one of my DT ones.  Yes, I have been creating but too lazy to get them on here :(

This was for an old lady, 103 to be exact who was having lunch at Glasgow City Chambers and receiving her British Empire medal.  103!!! Can you believe that?

It's time for a bit of colouring now:)  I've a few orders and DT cards to get sorted so I'd best get to it

oh hoppy day

Morning girls
I've a busy day ahead of me.  By hook or by crook I'm going to clean this craft room.  It's minging, cluttered and unorganized.   My desk is virtually a no go area there is so much piled on it and as for my cutting corner, I won't tell you how many minute scraps from my dies are scattered all over that!! I've been tossing bits and pieces all over the place so, today it gets sorted.

Onto me card. It's everything Easter over at The Paper Shelter this fortnight.

Isn't this little scene gorgeous?  It's one of Veronica's pre coloured images.  She does such a beautiful job of them it's hard not to use them and have a day off from the colouring :)

Well, I'd best go and get started.  If I sit here and browse, it'll be Facebook and Pinterest and then the morning will be gone.
Have a smashing day and wish me luck

tiptoe through the tulips

Hi everyone
Jings I'm in a muddle.  It was my turn to post over on theArt by MiRan  inspirational blog this morning and although my card has  been finished for days now I totally missed the dates :(  Talk about a mad rush!!
Anyway, it could've been worse had I not made a card at all.

I don't think I've written a blog post up, linked it etc in me life lol
Anyway, I hope you like my little bit of inspiration for you and please don't follow my example of last minute posting :(

seeing red...

Hellooooooooooo

It's time for a new challenge over on All Dressed Up and us Dressy Girls would be fair chuffed if you played along this fortnight.  To be honest it's not one of my favourite themes as I always find it very difficult not to add more colour.

MONOCHROMATIC
but I gave it my best shot

Excuse the crap pic too.  I'd to take this indoors due to the gales we've endured here all week.  Thus the light has caught her hair and made my shading look awful.  I promise it doesn't look like really:(

So, who's game to try it out and win some of Wendy's fabulous images?   I've seen some gorgeous monochromatic cards both on blogs and Pinterest so I just knows you can do it!!
Oh and keep your eyes peeled too for some more gorgeousness from Wendy which will be showcased later on this week over on the blog and our Facebook Group
